At Antique Tozai, we want you to feel fully confident when purchasing from us. Every piece is carefully sourced and inspected in Japan before shipment, and we strive to provide a smooth and trustworthy experience for collectors and customers worldwide.
⏳ 30-Day Returns
We offer a 30-day return policy, meaning you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return:
- The item must be returned in the same condition as received.
- The item must be unused and returned with its original packaging.
- Proof of purchase is required.
Please note that due to the vintage and antique nature of many items, minor imperfections, signs of age, patina, or variations may naturally exist and are considered part of the character and authenticity of the piece.
📦 How to Request a Return

Please include your order number and the reason for your return request. If your return is approved, we will provide detailed instructions on how and where to send your package.
Items returned without prior authorization may not be accepted.
🛠 Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
Please inspect your order upon arrival and contact us within 48 hours if the item is damaged, defective, or if you received the wrong item.
To help us process your request quickly, please include:
- Your order number
- Clear photos of the item and packaging
- A brief explanation of the issue
Once reviewed, we will offer an appropriate solution such as a replacement, store credit, or refund depending on the situation.

💳 Refunds
Once your returned item has been received and inspected, we will notify you regarding the approval of your refund.
If approved, refunds will be processed to your original payment method within approximately 10 business days. Processing times may vary depending on your payment provider or bank.
Please note that original shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to an error on our side.
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item arrived damaged, defective, or incorrect.

🇪🇺 European Union Cooling-Off Period
For orders shipped to countries within the European Union, customers have the right to cancel or return their order within 14 days without providing a reason, in accordance with applicable EU consumer protection laws.
Returned items must remain unused, in their original packaging, and accompanied by proof of purchase.
