An antique Japanese lacquered cabinet.
Take a journey back to the Meiji Era with our antique resized version of a Japanese drawers, called Tansu, typical of the late 1800s and early 1900s Japanese furniture style. This beautiful drawer is lavishly decorated with gorgeous iron hardware and finished in a black lacquered, handmade by craftsmen. This beautiful piece of furniture is not only a unique addition to any home or collection, but it is also a piece of history. The intricate lacquered add metal feature design representing different symbols of natural elements such as animals and pine tree make it a true work of art.
Furniture characteristics:
Two large drawers on the upper side.
A single hinged-door on the lower side with three small size drawers.
A secret hidden box at the bottom of the last drawer (see picture)
