Description
Description
Flowing black ink brushwork fills two vertical columns in this handwritten Japanese calligraphy scroll, known as a kakejiku.
A cream silk brocade mount with subtle woven motifs frames the writing, creating a quiet focal point for a study or tokonoma alcove.
Made in Japan after 1970, the scroll measures 190 × 46 cm (74.8 × 18.1 in) and includes its original wooden storage box.
It presents well overall, with visible age spots, light discoloration, and gentle creasing.
